02 / Overview

Overview

A realistic one-page website for an independent Italian restaurant, designed to make the menu, atmosphere, opening hours, and booking action immediately clear.

03 / Task

The brief

Create a credible commercial restaurant website with a strong atmosphere and a direct route from browsing the menu to requesting a table.

04 / Role

My Role

Concept, interface design, front-end development, responsive implementation, and interaction design.

05 / Build

The Build

The dark editorial layout gives the dining-room photography room to work, while the compact navigation, category-based menu, and modal reservation form keep the primary tasks close.

  • Separate home, menu, and story pages
  • Category-based dinner menu
  • Reservation dialog with validation
  • Expanded editorial food and interior photography

06 / Technology

Tech Stack

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

07 / Development

Development

The site is built as a dependency-free static project. Menu tabs, responsive navigation, reveal transitions, and the reservation confirmation state run in plain JavaScript.

  • Keep the atmospheric presentation useful and readable on small screens
  • Make a static demonstration feel like a complete booking journey

08 / Result

Outcome

A focused restaurant demo that presents the brand, current menu, location, opening hours, and booking path in one coherent page.
